Snowmagedon Visits Charlotte

Early in the week as the snow rolled in to Pittsburgh and the inches turned in to feet and the plow runs turned in to blitzes, I frequently boasted of my good fortune being in Charlotte, NC.  Well, I mocked my friends and family in Pittsburgh one too many times.  Karma has decided to make a visit in the form of 4″ of snow in Charlotte.

You might think 4″ is a joke, but they don’t have plows down here.  It’s the second weekend in the last 4 we’ve had wintery weather and my car (a Nissan 350Z with rear-wheel drive and without ABS) has been rendered useless both times.  In fact, today it didn’t even make it the whole way home.  I had to abandon it in a parking lot a few blocks away rather then attempt the last hill.  A hill I might mention, that I’m going to have to try to run as part of my long, slushy, cold, slippery training run tomorrow.  So if you know me personally or heard my jokes, feel free to poke fun in the comments.
